Orpheus was an interplanetary space probe launched by NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA) in 2036. Its primary mission was to perform a flyby study on one or more Kuiper belt objects (KBOs), with a secondary mission to shoot infrared photography of astronomical objects on its way. The mission ended in 2051 with the sudden destruction of Orpheus.
